Smiley Soap provides handmade skincare products.  Our soap will help your skin retain its natural oils.  We use the old fashioned lye-based soap making process for all of our soaps, utilizing vegetable oils in our products (no animal fat).  Combining lye and oils at the right temperature causes a process called saponification.  This process makes soap and glycerin, a natural byproduct of soap making. Store bought soaps extract the glycerin in order to make higher priced items like lotions and creams.  We leave all of this glycerin in the soap, so our products provide moisture to your skin, making it softer.
